Think of how many purchases you make each year! Think of how all that no-longer-loose change can add up and earn interest! For example:

  • You buy a cup of coffee for $3.25 somewhere in Worcester County, MA, and pay with your debit card. We round up to $4, meaning 75 cents goes from your checking to your savings account. 
  • If the gas pump stops at $27.40, that's another 60 cents automatically transferred from checking to savings.
