David talks about his role in the bank and life outside the bank.
What are you passionate about in your role? Residential lending on the surface seems quite routine, but to have the opportunity to assist people with some of the biggest decisions in their lives is rewarding and very satisfying. I have been in the mortgage industry for over 20 years, and I have built my reputation by listening to customers to understand what is most important to them and working with them to find the program that best meets their needs. Whether it’s a borrower’s first home purchase or their 10th refinance, it is my goal to have all of my customers deliriously happy with Dave Sampson and Webster Five!
What are some of your hobbies and interests? I am a big fan of all the local professional sports teams. I enjoy rowing, cycling, and playing golf, but mostly, I like spending time on the Cape with my wife, kids, and grandchildren.
Can you tell us a fun fact about yourself? I coached college basketball in the early to mid 1980s, and I am a Black Belt = Six Sigma trained and certified in the tools of continuous improvement.
