Webster Five hires Izzy Cruz as Assistant Vice President, Senior Branch Manager

Webster Five Cents Savings Bank has hired Izzy Cruz, Assistant Vice President, Senior Branch Manager at their Shrewsbury branch office location. Izzy comes to Webster Five with over 15 years of experience working in the banking industry. Most recently, Izzy held the position of Vice President, Branch Manager at Peoples United Bank at their Shrewsbury Street, Worcester branch location. In his new role at Webster Five, Izzy will oversee the daily operations of the Shrewsbury branch and will focus on business development and participating in community outreach.

In his most recent role at Peoples United Bank, Izzy supervised a banking center and originated business lending relationships while managing his team to achieve their lending, investment and deposit production goals. Prior to this role, he worked for Key Bank in Connecticut where he served as a Vice President, Business Banking Relationship Manager specializing in SBA and 504 loans in addition to partnering with 18 branches to drive business lending in his territory. Earlier in his banking career, he worked for Bank of America as Vice President, Branch Manager in Worcester in addition to Citizen’s Bank where he held the position of Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager.

Izzy received his certificate in Finance and Credit from the Connecticut School of Finance and Management in 2014. As manager of the Shrewsbury branch, Izzy will play an integral role in the success of the branch and its staff and will serve as a mentor to the rest of the Shrewsbury team.
