Webster Five Appoints Kate Gallo Megraw as Chief Operating Officer/Chief Information Officer
Auburn, MA – Webster Five is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Gallo Megraw as Chief Operating Officer/Chief Information Officer, effective March 3, 2025. Gallo Megraw’s promotion reflects the Bank’s commitment to innovation and its forward-thinking approach to technology integration.
This leadership transition will lead into the planned succession of Brian Westerlind, current Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer, who will assume the role of President/CEO following Don Doyle’s retirement on July 1, 2025.
A strategic leader with extensive industry experience, Gallo Megraw has been instrumental in driving Webster Five’s digital transformation. She led the Bank’s core conversion in 2023 in her role as Chief Information Officer, significantly enhancing its digital infrastructure and customer experience. In her new capacity, she will oversee Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, Business Systems, Information Technology, Marketing and Project Management, ensuring seamless integration of technology and operations to meet the evolving needs of Webster Five and its customers.

Gallo Megraw brings valuable industry insights through her role as a Core Platforms Committee Member of the American Bankers Association. Prior to joining Webster Five, she served as Chief Information Officer and Chief Operating Officer at New Valley Bank & Trust, where she oversaw Deposit Operations, Retail Banking, IT/IS and Marketing.
In addition to her professional achievements, Gallo Megraw is actively engaged in community service. She serves on the Board of Directors of Open Sky Community Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals to live beyond perceived limitations.
