New AVP in Credit Department – Meet Karen Kagan
Webster Five Cents Savings Bank announces the promotion of Karen Kagan to Assistant Vice President. Starting with Webster Five in 2014, Karen joined the credit department and has worked as a Credit Officer for the past 3 years. She is responsible for the analyses of business financial statements, tax returns and cash flow statements, as well as collaboration with the business lending officers in the decision process. Due to her experience, dedication, and performance in this role, Karen earned the status promotion to AVP.
Prior to joining Webster Five, Karen most recently held the position of Senior Credit Analyst at United Bank, where she worked for 9 years performing credit analyses for commercial loans and mortgages, written analyses of financial statements, and research. Throughout her career, Karen also worked for two accounting firms, researching all areas of tax regulations and performing tax return reviews for individuals and corporate entities. Karen holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Assumption College in Worcester and a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from UMASS North Dartmouth.
