New AVP in Business Systems Department
Webster Five Cents Savings Bank announces the promotion of Diane E. Ferreira to assistant vice president. Diane started with Webster Five in 2008 and joined the information technology team. She advanced through the years and transitioned to the bank’s new Business Systems department. Diane currently works as a business systems officer, primarily responsible for system upgrades, technical system configuration, operational support and project management. Due to her experience, dedication and performance in this role, she earned the status promotion to AVP.
Diane has an extensive background working in banking, including several years in retail branches, loan operations and collections prior to transitioning to information technology. Before joining Webster Five, she worked in several information technology roles at three other financial institutions over a 16-year period. She has recently taken a leadership role in determining how the new Business Systems department and IT will work together. She served six years as an elected member of the Phoenix National User Group Board of Directors. With that group, she continues to learn and perfect skills regarding the bank’s core system, which houses all customer information. Diane’s knowledge continues to be relied upon heavily, and her expertise with the core system plays a key role in the bank’s ability to deliver quality products to our customers. She holds a Bachelor of Science in education from Bridgewater State University, as well as several Microsoft and Novell technical certifications from Roger Williams University.
