Jennifer Nickerson

Chief Risk Officer

With a career spanning over two decades in the financial sector, Jennifer is the key to Webster Five’s risk management strategy. Bringing an extensive background in auditing and risk assessment, she is instrumental in fortifying the Bank with proactive risk management and effective core leadership for all Bank risk functions. Jennifer blends a deep understanding of regulatory landscapes with a proactive approach to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Jennifer joined Webster Five as the Director of Compliance, Risk, and Audit prior to her promotion to CRO, bringing audit experience from roles at Century Bank, Santander, Sovereign Bank and more.  She holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from Salem State University and is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

Jen talks about her role in the bank and life outside of the bank.

What are you passionate about in your role?

I enjoy the challenge of managing and mitigating risk across the organization. I also enjoy collaborating with internal and external parties to come up with solutions that make Webster 5 better place to work and serve our customers.

What are some of your hobbies and interests?

I love the outdoors. For six months out of the year, you can find me camping with my son, husband, and camp family.

Can you tell us a fun fact about yourself?

In high school, I had the highest batting average within my conference.
